I'm a Male
You don’t have to fight this battle alone.
You are not alone.
If you’re struggling with food, exercise, or body image-whether it’s anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, or emotional eating-you’re not the only one. A lot of young men deal with these same challenges, even though it doesn’t always get talked about. You deserve real support and a space where you don’t feel judged.
Breaking the Stereotype
For years, people have thought eating disorders only happen to girls. That’s simply not true. Guys get eating disorders too, and the silence around it can make it feel even worse. Many young men I’ve worked with say that everything they read online made them feel like they didn’t “fit the mold” of who’s supposed to struggle with an eating disorder.
Even doctors sometimes miss the signs, because eating disorders can look different in men, especially when it comes to medical complications, exercise habits, or muscle/strength goals. That doesn’t make your struggle any less real.
The Pressures Men Face
Being a young man today comes with its own set of pressures—wanting to look a certain way, keep up in sports, or manage stress at school or work while acting like you’ve got it all together. Society often tells guys to “tough it out,” which can make it hard to admit when something isn’t right. But your mental and physical health matter.
You don’t need to fit into stereotypes of strength or perfection. Real strength is being honest about what you’re going through and letting yourself heal.
Take the First Step
I get it-guys need a different approach. My work with young men in the Kansas City area focuses on creating a space that feels safe and real, not clinical or cookie-cutter. Together, we’ll talk about what you’re dealing with—whether that’s food, exercise, body image, school, work, or relationships, and find a way forward that fits your life.
From the careful selection of ethically sourced materials to the implementation of This isn’t about being “perfect.” It’s about helping you feel strong, grounded, and free from the constant fight with food and your body.
